Hey Guys! Welcome to the Flashback/Backslide Bond Week!
With the release of the new Bond film Spectre rapidly approaching on Nov. 6, FB/BS decided it would be fun to explore the past incarnations of the original super spy. Spectre will be the 24th film in the Bond franchise, which is the third highest grossing film series of all time, only trailing Harry Potter and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the highest grossing film series overall when adjusted for inflation. Six actors have portrayed the gentleman spy, each giving their own interpretation to the character created by former British secret serviceman Ian Fleming in 1953. While the villains and themes have changed over the past 50 years, James Bond has remained one of the most popular characters ever created. He is the ultimate sophisticated, dangerous, sexy, confident hero, one which we all hope is out there, saving the world and looking good doing it.
FB/BS will take a look at each actor in turn and review one of our favorite movies starring each actor as we count down to the release of Daniel Craig’s fourth round as Bond in Spectre.
Do you remember the first Bond movie you ever saw?
